Dr. Lögering is specialized in dispute resolution and has profound experience in the field of commercial disputes. He represents clients before arbitral tribunals and domestic courts and is available to act as arbitrator.
Dr. Lögering has specific experience in dealing with complex cross-border disputes with a focus on international trade, ship building, plant engineering, claims/liabilities and offshore-wind-industry.
Dr. Lögering is a bar-certified specialist lawyer in International Commercial Law (since 2014).
Dr. Lögering studied law in Münster, Hamburg and Nijmegen (Netherlands) and received a Ph.D. in law (Dr. iur.) with a doctoral thesis in the area of international commercial law. Before joining LEBUHN & PUCHTA in 2012 he was member of the litigation/arbitration practice of a leading international law firm for many years.
He regularly speaks on commercial law topics and is the author of several publications, including the section on “Arbitration” in the legal commentary on the German Mediation Law published by Fritz/Pielsticker. Dr. Lögering is a lecturer in International Contract and Commercial Law at Fresenius University of Applied Science, Hamburg. In 2018 Dr. Lögering was selected winner in the category of ‘Arbitration and Mediation Lawyer of the Year – Germany’ at the Finance Monthly Law Awards.
